Started in 1972 by Jack Cynamon and Alan Green, two tailors from the East End of London, the Jacques Vert brand was created five years later, and became Sandra’s preferred brand for all occasions. As a result, Sandra has gained an in-depth knowledge of their styles and colours on which she draws in putting together her current collection.

Sandra’s personal experience of Jacques Vert apparel, in jewel colours, bias cut from quality materials in classic styles stands the test of time. As such, following her retirement, Sandra chose to open an online shop which combined her passion for the brand with her commercial insight, as she is happy to discuss in her opening comments.

I had retired from business in 2012 and, looking for a new interest, I began collecting new and nearly items of Jacques Vert clothing and accessories, which I cleaned and pressed to as good as new condition, putting together same size items into matching outfits with optional matching accessories.

Since 2013

Since 2013 I have sold through an eBay internet shop Preloved JacquesVert, open around the clock and offered over 700 outfits in sizes 10 - 24.

Today, I am launching my own online shop,” Preloved Jacques Vert” as an independent resale outlet with green credentials.

“I am available to advise and assist customers and offer a very personal service and ensure that all colours match or contrast without clashing. My chief pleasure is putting the outfits together at a discounted price and will patiently wait to find the right dress or jacket to match and at the right price. My reward is the appreciation of my customers, which has led me to be awarded top-rated seller rating with 100% positive feedback and the LUX GLOBAL WEDDING AWARD” in consecutive years.

Being a larger size myself, I specialise in sizes 20 – 24. I offer a greater range of outfits in all sizes and colours than is available anywhere on the internet including eBay & Amazon.
